Keynote Lecturer, CEO and Founder of Formfinder Software GmbH

Robert Roithmayr acts as planner and consultant on major international projects involving membrane lightweight structures. He is architect, computer scientist and legally certified engineer.

In 2006 he founded the Formfinder Software GmbH in Vienna (www.formfinder.at). From 2004 to 2016 he was partner of Wehdorn Architekten Vienna. From 2009 to 2013 chairman of the section  „Architecture and Planning“ of the Austrian Association of Engineers- and Architects (www.oiav.at).

In 2010 he initiated the international post graduate academic Master of Engineering Program MEng. Program in „Membrane Lightweight Structures“ at the Vienna University of Technology in Austria

In 2014 Simon Chiu, Horst Dürr and he founded the TensileEvolution now based in Los Angeles.

Since 2016 Robert Roithmayr is the program director of the postgrad. academic MEng. Program in „Lightweight Membrane Structures“ at the Danube University Krems Austria.
