Keynote Lecturer,
Dr. Dieter Ströbel studied Geodesy at the University of Stuttgart (Master of Engineering) and Civil Engineering at the University of Stuttgart (Master of Engineering), he wrote his Ph.D. Thesis at the University of Stuttgart. The main topic was Formfinding and especially Statics of mechanically or pneumatically stressed membranes including the main steel structure. The solution big nonlinear systems with specific algorithms allowed the application on PC’s.
He currently is product manager and development engineer at the technet GmbH in Stuttgart, and partner of the technet GmbH. Currently he is lecturer at the master course ‘Lightweight Membrane Structures’ at the Danube University Krems (Austria). Several national and international research projects with respect to membrane structures for textile halls, biogas plants, etc. were directed by him.
