Abstract

The Architectural Membrane Association is an international industry organisation aiming to spread the word about the beauty and efficiency of lightweight structures. It provides information and insight in constructing with fabrics and foils and facilitates building a community of companies within the industry.

The AMA Award, first issued in 2021, rewards outstanding contributions to the conservation of natural resources in membrane structures. It honours concepts in four categories: products, projects, design and ideas.

Bio

Aoife is relatively new to the tensile industry having joined Fabric Architecture when it was purchased in 2019. She has thrown herself into her role as Business Manager and the industry with enthusiasm, joining the board of the Architectural Membrane Association (AMA), becoming a member of TensiNet, and this year completing the IMS Archineer qualification.
