Björn Beckert is a world-renowned technical expert and educator on ETFE and Membrane Design and Technology.

Originally from Germany, Björn has a 20-year history in ETFE and Membrane design, engineering, project management, testing, and fabrication technologies. He is currently the Managing Director of Fabritecture USA, headquartered in Las Vegas, and is a Technical Consultant for Fabritecture projects world-wide. Formerly, Björn was the Managing Director of seele cover GmbH, and General Manager of Covertex—leading global specialist membrane and ETFE fabricators and D&C contractors.

Björn was a lecturer at the Institute of Architecture, Technishe Universität, Berlin (1998 – 2004), and has presented on myriad topics relating to ETFE & membrane design and technology at various educational institutions and conferences for the past 20 years.

Björn is available for Continuing Education courses for Architectural firms in the USA and for speaking engagements at Architecture, Engineering, and Tensile Architecture conferences world-wide.
