Fabian Graber completed a large part of his diploma study in architecture in India, deciding afterwards to deepen his knowledge in the field of civil engineering by taking a bachelor’s and master’s degree at the ETH in Zurich, Switzerland. He nowadays is the head of engineering and a member of the management at Jakob Rope Systems, a specialist for cable and cable-mesh structures. Besides this position, he also works for the AHB – University of applied science Berne Switzerland as both a lecturer for structural engineering and as head of the construction and structure groupe. Therefore, he not only unites the two disciplines theoretically, but also on a practical level.

• Since 2016: Head of Engineering and Member of the Management, Jakob Rope Systems, Switzerland
• 2014 – 2016: Senior Design Engineer for Bridge Design of Post-tensioned and Bridge Structures, VSL International – Technical Centre, Singapore
• 2010 – 2014:  Structural Engineer, Dr. Lüchinger + Meyer Bauingenieure AG, Zürich
